1. General Provisions

These terms and conditions apply to bookings of chauffeur service including vehicle with Nuuk Rental. By placing an order, the customer accepts all of the following conditions without reservation.

2. Booking, Offers and Prices

Booking of chauffeur service must be made via email to mailto:info@nuukrental.glAll prices are agreed individually based on the nature of the assignment, duration, distance, number of passengers, timing, and special requirements. A written offer will be sent and must be approved by the customer before the final agreement is concluded.

3. Payment

Payment for the service must be made no later than at the time of service delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance. Nuuk Rental reserves the right to require a deposit or full prepayment for certain assignments. In the event of late payment, interest and any costs associated with collection will be charged in accordance with applicable legislation.

4. The Chauffeur's Responsibilities and Rights

The chauffeur represents Nuuk Rental and is responsible for safety throughout the execution of the assignment. The customer is obligated to follow the chauffeur's instructions. The chauffeur may at any time terminate the service if there is deemed to be a safety risk or if the customer violates applicable laws or safety regulations.

5. Cancellation, Changes and Early Termination

For staffing and vehicle reservation purposes, cancellations or changes must be communicated to Nuuk Rental in writing no later than 7 days before the agreed start time of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing. In case of cancellation, change, or early termination with less than 7 days' notice, the customer will be invoiced the full amount for the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing between the customer and Nuuk Rental.

6. The Customer's Liability for Damages

The customer bears full financial responsibility for any damage to the vehicle caused by the customer or the passengers as a result of negligence, omissions, or disregard of the chauffeur's instructions.

Damages Caused by Third Parties:
The customer further accepts full financial responsibility for any damage inflicted on the vehicle by third parties, including but not limited to demonstrators or other individuals protesting against the customer, the customer's activities, or the passengers. For example, if the vehicle is subjected to stone-throwing, vandalism, paint damage, or similar acts, the customer agrees to cover all costs associated with the repair of such damages.

7. Nuuk Rental's Limitation of Liability

Nuuk Rental cannot be held liable for losses, delays, cancellations, or additional costs caused by circumstances beyond Nuuk Rental's control, including traffic conditions, weather, technical issues, strikes, government actions, or force majeure. In any case, Nuuk Rental's total liability is limited to the amount the customer has paid for the specific service.

8. Personal Data and Confidentiality

Personal data is treated confidentially in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. The information is used solely for bookings, invoicing, and communication with the customer, and is never disclosed to third parties without the customer's consent, unless required by law.

9. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

Nuuk Rental reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions on an ongoing basis without prior notice. It is the customer’s responsibility to stay informed about the applicable terms on www.nuukrental.gl.

10. Disputes

Any disputes must first be attempted resolved through negotiation. If this is not successful, the dispute shall be settled in accordance with Greenlandic law at Nuuk Rental’s legal venue.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By booking chauffeur service, the customer confirms having read, understood, and accepted all of the above terms and conditions.
