Car Wash Terms and Conditions

General
By booking and purchasing a car wash, the customer accepts these terms in their entirety. By using our services, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted our terms and conditions.

  1. Disclaimer of Liability
    a. Damage to the Vehicle
    The customer acknowledges that we cannot assume responsibility for any damage to the vehicle, including but not limited to scratches, dents, paint fading (e.g. due to paint chips), or other cosmetic damage, unless the damage is solely caused by our gross negligence or direct fault.
    b. Damage to Personal Belongings
    The customer is solely responsible for any valuables, loose items, or other belongings stored in or on the vehicle during the car wash. We disclaim all liability for the loss of or damage to such items.

  2. Customer Responsibility
    a. The customer must ensure that the vehicle is in a condition suitable for washing, and that all personal belongings have been removed or adequately secured to prevent damage during the wash.
    b. Any visible damage or pre-existing conditions that may be aggravated by the car wash must be reported to us before the wash begins.
    c. By using our services, the customer accepts that the risk of any damages as mentioned above lies with the customer.

  3. Damage Reporting Deadline
    The customer is obligated to report any damage that may occur or worsen in connection with the car wash within 24 hours after collecting the vehicle. The report must be submitted in writing to our customer service. Failure to meet this deadline may result in the customer forfeiting the right to make a claim.

  4. Monitoring and Documentation
    a. To ensure the quality and traceability of our services, we monitor all car washes and vehicle handovers.
    b. The monitoring enables us to document whether any damages occurred during our handling or were pre-existing.
    c. The customer acknowledges that during the period in which the vehicle is in the possession of Nuuk Rental, it is under video surveillance, and that the recordings may be used to clarify liability in the event of damage.

  5. Limitation of Liability for Compensation
    Our liability for compensation is limited to direct damage that can be clearly attributed to our actions and will only apply if the damage is caused by our gross negligence or direct fault. Compensation for indirect damage, consequential damage, or loss of profit is excluded under all circumstances.

  6. Changes and Reservations
    We reserve the right to amend these terms on an ongoing basis. It is the customer’s responsibility to review the applicable terms at the time of each booking.
